Research generates results
Financial support by NWO enables circa 5,500 scientific researchers to perform their work. In the Netherlands as well as at institutes, research centres and universities abroad.
Subsidies for high-end research and apparatus. Distributing money is NWO's key assignment, together with the coordination of research programmes. Research generates results. With publication and financial accountability thereof NWO meets it overall governance responsibility.
